The 4th shooter for the Devils, Kovalchuk needed to beat Buffalo’s Jhonas Enroth to extend the game. Instead, well, the footage speaks for itself. Post-game comments from Kovalchuk indicated that the big ticket free agent understood why the Jersey crowd reacted the way they did. In a league where more than a few players don’t speak English, it’s good to know that “booooo” crosses language lines.
